Wedding Ring Storage While at the Gym?

Where do you put your wedding ring while you are at the gym? I usually just put mine in my coat pocket or gym bag pocket but tonight after going into a full on panic mode not being able to find it I'm thinking maybe there's a better place I could put it.

If you can't lock it up in a locker (some gyms have those wallet size lockers), then I would leave it at home. Or maybe wear it around a necklace?1

How about tying it into your shoelace..?1 -
Home or in my car if I have a workout at a weird time. I don't take anything of value into the gym. No wallet, cell phone, etc. I do have an old phone I use as an mp3 player but that's it.0

In a locked locker, in my car, or at home.1

I don't wear mine to the gym.3

I never take my rings off unless I'm lifting a heavy bar during cross fit. Then I tuck them into a small pocket in my leggings waistband.0

I leave mine in the car in an empty NUUN container. Fact they been there for 6+ months Hahaha!2

I attach my engagement ring to my key ring and leave it in a locked locker. Or I leave it at home0

I never wear it to the gym after I snapped an engagement ring band lifting weights.
If I forget to take it off, I store it in a particular pocket of my purse in a locked locker and put it back on immediately when I finish.0 -
I've either worn my ring or left it at home. Mine's a thick titanium band so I only worry about losing it, but a soft gold or something with stones does risk being damaged. If it's not something you are comfortable wearing leave it home. The more you take it off in public places the more likely you are to lose it.0

I wear mine or leave it at home. My husband meets me at the gym right after work and he locks his in the glove box in the truck then locks it up.0

I have a hook in the smallest compartment of my bag- its' one of those like plastic carabiner type hooks- I just snap them on there and zip it up.
otherwise I leave them at home.0 -
I've got a $10 Qalo knockoff. So I wear it all the time.

It seems like most people leave there's at home. I don't have that option because I go to the gym on my way home from work.0

The only time I take mine off is when on the rowing machine or lifting weights. They sit right next to my water bottle, otherwise I'd forget them. If you use a locked locker, you could hang it on the hook inside, attach it to your keys, leave it on the shelf - whatever you do, just be consistent, otherwise you will lose your mind (as you already experienced).0

Mine goes in my sock, in my shoes, in the locker!0

I NEVER wear them to the gym, and I never leave them in the car. I had my car broken into while at the gym, and that really sucked.
If you feel naked without a ring, get a Qalo.1 -

In my purse in my locker because I go straight to work afterwards. If it's a weekend and I'm not working then I just leave it at home. I have a bit less pressure because I wear a cheaper ring during work so if it gets lost/stolen it's not big deal.0

The car thing: Avoid hiding things after you arrive at your destination. Hide them before you drive there.
At one of the places I work out (rowing club) we figured out that thieves were hiding where they could watch us, then preferentially breaking into cars where they'd seen someone tucking something(s) away. And because they'd watched, they could quickly go straight for the goodies.
Another possibility: My rowing double partner has a little fabric water bottle carrier/insulator with a tiny zipper pocket, just big enough for her key & rings. Close to you, out of others' sight, harder to overlook/forget yourself.2 -
In my locked car.0

I either leave it in the car or tied to my shoelaces0

I go to a community center gym on Mondays at lunch and I just leave it in my office...I go to my regular gym on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings and just don't wear it on those days.0

I tie my ring into my shoe lace. I just pull it out of one of the shoelace holes, put my ring on, my the string back through the hole and tie my shoe (that way even if my shoelace came untied the ring wouldn't come out). Works for me. Another option would be to put it around your necklace if you wear one, or get a locker at the gym if you can.1

Mine goes on a clip on my water bottle that stays with me the entire time I am in the gym.0

I always forget to take my rings off, for quite some time I couldn't take them off, so they usually end up in my trainers pocket.0

When I belonged to a gym we were warned not to leave valuables in our lockers, especially not to use a combination lock, because there had been so many break-ins. The locker room was the only place in the whole gym without cameras for privacy of course. I'd ask at the police station if thefts had been reported at your gym before leaving anything valuable in a locker or car.0
