Have you gotten any new or (new to you) fitness equipment that you've recently got and you're excited about?

I just got new running shoes today that I'm pretty excited about. Now I can go for a run later tonight!

...I really need a new pair of shoes. For something exciting- thicker gloves. :)

They're perfect because it's going to feel like it's in the low 30s when I run tomorrow. My hands were pretty miserable yesterday.

I got pizza today. I was really excited about that, but then it was gone and took my excitement with it.

I got a lifting cage and heavy bag last year. That was pretty awesome.

A Halo Rover Hoverboard. See: https://www.haloboard.com/collections/store/products/halo-rover

Ordered it on impulse as an alternative form of transportation and so excited about it that I haven't even opened the box yet -- a week after delivery.

Waiting for the rain to stop to give it a try. LOL!!!

We bought a couple of appliances a few months ago and had some reward money for Sears, and I used it to get a stationary bike. I love the added variety of good cardio. The seat is hellishly uncomfortable though, the hardness I can deal with but it really pitches me forward. Will figure it out.

Xbox 360 with Kinect and some fitness games. It has been a great motivation for working out. Been using Kinect adventures and JunkFu. Have a few more to try as well.

Just got myself some Romaleos. I've only benched and done some overhead work in them and am in serious love. Such an upgrade from my reebok lifters that it's kinda a joke.

Just got a lot of new clothing for hiking and skiing. Most of it in a medium (I did get the jackets in a large so I could layer clothing underneath), which is bizarrely strange when I used to have to see how many Xs I could find on the clothing label!

I finally bit the bullet and bought a leotard to start wearing to my silks classes. I don't have a dancer body so like.... it's not really a cute look hahaha! But I'm really tired of the fabric grabbing my shirts and messing up my sequences/potentially ripping my clothes.

I got this neat landmine sleeve thingy that I can stick into weight plates for a base. Before I was just sticking it into the 45s and was getting more anxious about it popping out and crashing into my stuff.

Also, got a legit squat pad. No more chopping up dollar store pool noodles!

I have fleece lined leggings, but they're not comfortable & cause chaffed skin on my thighs, so I usually just layer up. But, how do you brace yourself for the cold in a run? My body isn't completely used to running cause it's been a while since I ran. I usually try to aim for night runs since there's less traffic around, but the fog has been rolling in this week which is making it colder out and harder for me to go out there.

11 whole pounds of vanilla-flavoured whey isolate powder. coulda been a disaster as it was my first purchase online and in bulk, from a site whose products i'd never tried. but i love it so couldn't be happier.

protein-acquistion chore: done. at least for the next six-ish months. that feels so good, idk what to say.

And the image quality from stills is excellent, with the video being good. As I had it in a head mount it's pretty shaky, but very clear video, solid audio pick-up.

The only snag with the head mount is the weight on the front of the head. The golden rule with endurance races is nothing new on race day, so this may not have been the best idea but I'm really glad I gave it a good long outing.

Anxiously awaiting as I write the arrival of the book Strong Curves. I'll finally have a PLAN to follow at the gym not just plopping myself on whatever machine cuz it looks effective!

Canicross equipment for me and my dog. It's so much more fun running with her, I'm trying out a lot of new trails instead of plodding around the same boring road circuit that I always used to.
