What if it took you 30 weeks to lose 30lbs, would that be too slow for you?

Hello- I have the same goal. Need to lose around 30 pounds. After years of falling off the wagon I finally followed a meal plan for a whole week and the weight loss has started. I know I really need support!

1lb a week is a safe sustainable goal for most people and gradual enough so that you don't have to do a 180 in your life. Basically you're just eating 500 calories less a day from what you burn. It can be done faster but the issue that I run into with people who try to be overzealous is the REGAINING of weight once they reach goal. After much sacrificing, it's easy to get back to indulging more and once you know it, you're back to eating the way you used and weight regain accompanies it.
