I'm aiming for a fully raw diet but am struggling giving hummus, in particular. Weird- I know. I make homemade hummus so I know everything that's in it. I've replaced chips with radishes- which helped me give up tortilla chips. I do notice that I feel heavier when I eat hummus or something that was cooked (beans), so I'd like to not want them.

Anyone else have one or two foods they struggle with giving up? Any suggestions?

Look into why you "feel heavier" after eating perfectly normal human food?

I'd have to wonder if this is the best and most sustainable diet for you. It sounds like you're forcing yourself to do this under false pretenses and not because of preference.

I haven't struggled giving up anything. I gave up alcohol, what I consider junk food, meat and dairy in April and haven't missed them at all. I think as long as you can find other foods you love to eat and have a good variety and also get all the nutrients and food groups you need it shouldn't be a struggle.
