Exercising really helps release "whatever" and makes me feel better. I am an emtional eater so getting myself out of the house is always helpful.

I drink. Heavily. Kidding...only on weekends. Once i started working out/exercising 5-6 days a week my stress level went down...

Walking/jogging seems to work well for me. (With headphones that drown out everything else is even better...)

Exercising is definitely a good one.

I also play video games. A good few games of Call of Duty or Halo (or any other game of your choice...as long as it isn't too stressful in and of itself) can help get your mind off things and feel refreshed.

Once I start feeling stressed out I put on my gym clothes and I head straight to the gym. I do the elliptical for 45 minutes and can usually pound of my frustration on there, then do some weights!

I beat my children, dog and wife....in that order.

I work out, I try to avoid eating as it was my #1 day with coping with stress but now I just work out and also do Jujitsu

I eat loads :( When i was doing my dissertation at uni I had takeaways 2-3 times a week because I couldn't be bothered to cook then ate a whole (yes whole!) back of biscuits at night. Either that or smoking-wouldn't recommend either! x Ps: Now I exercise instead

I drink beers :drinker: . I also go on long walks outside.. no music, no distraction, concentrate on my breathing and the stress melts away.

I'm mostly pretty laid back. Rarely get stressed out, but when I do I either listen to music, or exercise, play video games... whatever I can to take my mind off whatever's stressing me.

I walk for around ten miles with my dog and moan all the way to her,she always looks like she is interested and is listening. I tend to feel a whole lot better afterwards or at least have a plan in my mind to deal with what is causing the stress.

I rarely stress out. I think it's because I love to walk. It's quiet time to reflect.

Go for a good run (or a walk). I find that if I am having a bad day, after I have a good hard run I feel so much better.

Sometimes I go shopping, but I'm currently unemployed which stresses me out even more, so I go shoplifting.

No seriously, I have to laugh it off. It depends on the type of stress though. Sometimes I get rid of my kid and rent a super sad movie, then a super funny one. I watch the sad on first, then I watch the funny one. There are times at which during this ritual I drink. Again, depends on the type of stress.

People watching is a good destressor as well. Because I have a sick sense of humor, I find that watching strangers makes me feel better. It always helps to SEE that there are far more idiots and morons in the world than there is stress in my life.

    When in doubt, LAUGH!

mediatation, guided imagery and yoga are great alternatives. Believe it or not, exercise is a great stress reducer. Good luck!
