I hit my 5 lb goal for December but having a very hard time maintaining it during the family visits.
Love the holidays but will be glad when they are over and it is easy to eat healthy and find time for the gym

Not nearly as much as I wanted, but I'll take it. My origional goal for December was to lose 11.2 lbs by working my booty off. I'm actually close to half way there, and I have 2 more weeks to go, of which I will only have to work 2 more days next week and I'll be on Christmas break, so I'll have more time to try and get some exercise in. I may still be able to get close to losing that other 6.8 lbs.
12/23: 162.8!!!! I about didn't believe the scale. I got off and back on 4 times!
December total: 9.4 pounds!!

Well, I am officially 20 lbs away from my ultimate goal. Even if I don't make 5 lbs this month, I am losing. I will take that as a win. I am a member of TOPS, and have got to lose weight after Christmas and after New Year's Day. No one in my group has done that and won the "rose" award. I am determined to be the first. Will let you know. So far, I am doing well. I did lose after Thanksgiving.7 -

Even though I've been continuously losing, I don't feel good about this week at all. I had a party and ate way too many of the leftover appetizers and carby things I don't typically keep in the house, and then went out to this wonderful dessert place and split a chocolate bread pudding and a tres leeches cheesecake with my mom as it's a tradition.
Not to mention I got too confident and wrecked my hamstrings doing deadlifts with too much weight- couldn't run or even really walk for the past 5 days! But at least I learned my lesson. And I'm only .4 away! Woohoo!9 -

I broke three bones in my foot on the 20th...I've got this stupid half cast and have no idea how much it & the other crap weigh or how to accurately weigh myself. Or if it even matters with all the swelling and bruising and muscle soreness that probably imply some water retention for repair.
