I was wondering if you should do cardio on leg days?

YES - I do 30 minutes cardio on the elliptical, legs, then back to the elliptical for another 30. It burns a ton of calories (and I have a lot of fat to get rid of)

cool, thanks!! didn't know if your legs would be too tired to do cardio afterwards...... After all of these years I am finally getting into working out my legs lol... I hurt my knee jumping out of a plane in the military in 2001, and it is finally getting a little better where I can work out my legs and do cardio.

I think it's personal preferrence. Yes, doing legs then cardio is harder then just cardio but I don't believe it's a no no. I've done it and it was fine.

I do 15 minutes on the treadmill after legs. I work my legs until they are jello so I usually just end up walking on the treadmill. I find that keeping moving for a few minutes after a leg workout keeps them from being as sore the next day.

I do find that if I lift legs one day and then do cardio the next, it helps loosen up my leg muscles if I'm really sore...
