Chicken wing question

My friend and I have a little debate going on. Here's the scenario: you order chicken wings from your favorite place, let's use BW3 as an example. You order 10 wings plain. If you look up BW3 wings in MFP, it comes up as BW3 chicken wings plain. I put the # I ordered and save it. My friend says that it's only 5 wings, because a wing is both the drum and the flapper, so because they are not together, one piece is a half the wing. HELP! In my mind, they sell them like that, so you should count them as one for every piece you eat, as that is how they are probably taken from the website. Thanks.

No. Around 90 kcal is about right for a drum or flat depending on how it's cooked. Remember that most of these entries are user created. Look for the verified or USDA.

I would say you had 10 wing pieces as that is how the restaurant sells them and gives the nutritional information.
They give you assorted wing parts that equal what you order. If you order 10 chicken wings you don't get 20 parts that form 10 whole wings.

Each counts as one in my opinion.

How would you log an entire large bucket of crispy fried chicken?

    ... I'm asking for a friend.
