Looking for vegetarian shake recipes

I LOVE bread. It's my go to food. Could eat it all day everyday. But I'm starting my weight loss journey and have decided that one of my lifestyle changes will be NO bread/grain for breakfast. So I would really appreciate shake ideas (I am a vegetarian so no meat, chicken or fish) and am trying to stay UNDER 350 calories.

Can you clarify what you mean by shake?
I mean, these things don't normally contain meat chicken or fish so i'm wondering if you're referring to the same thing i'm thinking of. And if you are, why would being vegetarian limit you being able to make any shake recipes.1 -
I'm confused as well. Do you mean something like a smoothie or protein shake? Typically those only have fruits, veggies, and maybe some protein powder with any kind of milk you like (almond, soy, cow, etc). You can find tons of recipes on line.0

I am old. This is all I can think of reading your post OP. Forgive me. But there's never been meat in any other shake than this:

I'm a vegetarian and I drink protein shakes all the time. I don't understand the question either.2 -
Any shake? They generally don't have meat in them.0

On one episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," two of the characters got jobs at "Slurp-A-Lunch" and they specialized in liquified meat smoothies. Maybe that's what OP is looking to avoid?2 -
A friend loves making protein shakes. He will often throw the leftover, or even fresh, veggies in his blender (magic bullet), and maybe some yogurt, cottage cheese, or protein powder, and whoosh! He has a nice protein drink.
If you want to add a vegetarian protein powder, they have pea or rice protein you can use.
Good luck!0 -
I eat breakfast on my commute and being a vegetarian I cannot just grab a few boiled eggs for the road.... That's why I am thinking I want to try shakes.
I also mentioned that I don't eat meat because I will need a protein rich shake to compensate.
But thanks for all the jokes1 -
I don't think any of us were making jokes, more so confused as to why that information was relevant.
You can google recipes for shakes, or check out the protein chef (YouTube) for good recipes.0 -

There are vegan and vegetarian protein powders out there. Any I have tried are a bit chalky in texture. I usually add spinach, fruit, and either flax or Chia seeds. Then either water or tea (if I need caffeine).1
