This year, my target is to recomp. I have researched and all of the information I got are for guys. I am at my ideal weight but I am not satisfied with my body fat percentage. I have been a body weight (pull up, push up) kind of person all my life, so weight lifting is going to be a new thing for me. I am hoping to get information from all you experienced fellows.

I use the workout plans at bodybuilding.com. They have beginner plans as well as plans to help with what you state as your goal. My gf has recomped her body using this site and the changes have been significant. Good luck.

Find an established lifting programme and make sure you're getting enough protein

So become a moderate carb vegan so that you're getting 0.8g of protein per lb of bodyweight.

Also to add, just because you are a body weight exercise person, doesn't mean you have to change that. If you keep increasing the difficulty of the movements you perform, you'll still achieve the results. That said, there is certainly nothing wrong with adding barbells and/or dumbells into your strength routine.
