Hi everybody! Who wants to lose some weight? ...ME! I have been struggling to lose weight for so long and now I am ready! I find having support from others is best and I get really motivated when I see others weight loss results! So join me and WE CAN DO THIS!

Yesss! I've used this app for a while, and have had recent success in the last 6 months while eating right and working out. I've never done any challenges but I knew there would be some fun ones in January. I want to hit my goal by March 15!

I was just finalizing my little excel spreadsheet when I saw this challenge. I have lurked on mfp many times and used it on and off. When I use it I see results, when I don't use it I also see results (just in the wrong direction). I spent much of 2016 ill, in and out of bed with an infection that lasted 10 months. It really zapped my energy levels and has taken a long time to recover from. I have been healthy now about 4 months and trying to get back to my normal energy levels and have struggled. During that time I have gained at least 20 lbs, now I need to lose it. That's my sob story...
I am interested in your plans to lose the weight. I plan on eating at my BMR and burning about 1000 cals per day (5 days per week) with two rest days and drinking a gallon of water per day. What do you think of that? To me it is very aggressive and still does not equate to 20 lbs by March. But I'll track it and hopefully adjust to meet the goal.
Not well versed in mfp, how do I do this challenge with you all? I have book marked this thread. Do I add you as friends? Please feel free to add me.

Hi frankenchops! Thank you for joining this challenge! It sounds like you have a great plan for losing weight and I'm sure if you stick to that regimen you will lose 20lbs ( if not more)! To be in this challenge all you have to do is post your weight every sunday. That's it!1
