I don't have diabetes or anything. I do seem to get low blood sugar aloT buts that's usually just when I need more food. Since I've upped my calories some days I get 100+ sugars. Today I got 133 and I'm guessing 100 of those where added. I need to gain weight. I'm about 95 pounds and 5 foot 3. So is this ok or is that amount of sugar dangerous?. I got the sugar from cereal, milk, banana, cliff bar, nut mix, ensure, and a little bit of chocolate. Sugar is an easy way for me to get calories in.

Why bother tracking it at all?
Just a subset of carbs.0 -

Carbs in general are anti-catabolic and aid muscle recovery. So going to say, they are very beneficial for training purposes. Where they can be bigger issues is those who have insult resistances or diabetes.3

Thank you for posting this article and to the OP for the question as I've been wondering the same thing. It is so hard for me to get the calories I need that I rely a lot on sugars.1 -
Thank you everyone. That helped. I'll stop paying attention to it.1
