I'm starting a few days late, but I'm in. Being Canadian I am going for 1,610KM (which converts to 1000 miles). One step at a time!2

I've made a good start, getting a few in the bank early to give myself a bit of space.

Yeah, I didn't buy my fitness tracker yet, but I'll use map my run to get things going until I get one.2

I just use a free app on my phone, it works well enough

Grrrr! I keep trying to edit the ticker to show 1000 miles in 2017 (not 100), but it won't update. I'll try again later. One of these times I'll get the ticker thing right!!2 -

I'm starting too, I'm in kilometers, so my goal will be 1600km, four km in today I'm going to figure out the ticker too, thanks for starting this!

First walk of 2017 in Montreal, Quebec....2 KM in freezing rain! Nothing a hot coffee won't fix. 1608 KM to go.2

I don't know how to get the ticker to track/sync
So, I just clicked on the ticker in my previous post and then updated the info on tickerfactory. Then I copied the "new" URL and reposted it here. It looks like it didn't "sync", but when I came back to this thread later it HAD updated with the correct info. Kind of delayed but it did update. Very weird IMO.1 -
