Wow, absolutely inspiring. I have a habit of trying to give it all or nothing...change diet, stop drinking pop, working out ect. all at one time and give up pretty quick. You are proof that slow and steady really does win the race. Going to try going at it your way...simple changes. I am not on a diet, I am looking for a lifestyle change, once small step at a time. I am hopeful that a year from now maybe I can be someones inspiration, just as you are to me!

You and @vismal puzzle me. I guess I carry my weight differently, but he was 315 and a 44 waist, your were 385 and a 50 waist, I was 330 and a 50 waist. Now at 275, I can do up a 44 waist, but can't wear them yet.

No real insight or question, just puzzled at the difference.

Both of your stories are helping me lose though. Thanks.

Thanks for the bump. Not much has changed. Been holding steady between 183 and 185 for a while now. Happy where I'm at. Still hitting the gym 5 or 6 days a week and enjoying life.

This is very inspiring. Thank you for posting and showing people like me that it is possible to get a lot healthier than we are before we begin. I hope one day to look this great. I only started on Jan. 1st 2017 again to really get myself on track. Lost only 12 lbs. yet,it's an accomplishment as I am seeing the scales go down instead of up. Keep up the great work. :)

Update...been maintaining well these last few months. Lost a few more recently and am actually under 180 for the First time since high school. I feel I have a pretty good handle on this.
