    I know it's not practical, but we're going to Disneyland on 1/31-2/4, and I'd love to lose 10-15 before then. I know my weight loss will slow after the first 10 pounds or so, but I have hope of fitting into my summer clothes for vacation rather than buying new!

    Hello!!! I am glad I stumbled on this thread. I'm a little overwhelmed by ALL the weight I need to lose so this manageable bite size of a goal. A little about myself- I had to kids (now 7 & 9) then went to grad school for 5 years (just finished this June- YAY!) and my weight has steadily increased since (+30 since having the kids and +20 since grad school). All these numbers aside my main goal for 2017 is to be healthy and sane about my eating (Just say no to emotional/stress eating!). My first step goal is 10% of my current weight by my 45th birthday so 20 by March would be right on track. This isn't my second time trying MFP but I'm hopeful and progressing with caution.
