just curious if anyone else here used advocare products. My favorites are the Spark, Thermoplus and Carb Ease.

Nope, I avoid MLM gimmicks15

I love it! I have a great sales rep too1

I don't know what that is, but the name sounds like a line of geriatric products and services that might be found in hospitals and nursing homes.5

Amen.4 -
If I'm going to waste my money, I prefer to do it on things that I enjoy or will be beneficial to me. MLM scams such as Advocare, ItWorks, BeachBody, Vi, etc. don't check either of those boxes.8

Nope. Not into MLM scams and products that require me to annoy the hell out of my friends trying to get them to purchase useless crap all also.6

Never used it before
If you use the search button, you may find one or two more users1 -
wow really surprised by the negative replies. I was looking for others who take the products and their input so it's strange that people would jump on a post that they're not into and just say negative comments.3

because many of us have had bad experiences with those products - and the marketing that goes into them (i.e. you'll fail at your weightless if you don't use xx product; or this product sucks because of yy but hey, mine is so much better)5

i guess it depends on how you choose to read into the responses
its either people want to prevent you wasting time and money or negative internet people
good luck5 -
My hardwork is the ONLY thing that has gotten me down 81lbs for this past year. Diet and exercise. There's really no other way. I take the above products for energy instead of energy drinks. I'm done with this post. Off to the gym....0

In this case you should have said so, your post was understood as a barely hidden advertisement for MLM-products.
Always bear in mind the medium in which you try to communicate, we cannot know what you mean, we only conceive what you write to us.

Ive been using them for four years and love it! The science behind the products and third party testing is why they are the supplements my family uses! Plus our endorsers are world class and they use the same products0 -

You asked it anyone used it. Most said no as they thought it was a waste of money. Seem like people answering your question.6 -

Thank you for the high five from an Advocare "Coach".8 -
I was talked into it by a friend that was selling it. So I spent about $400 on it, got so sick and weak that I could not properly care for my children, and ended up throwing away two thirds of what I bought. Then I found MFP and realized I could get AMAZING results, without spending any extra money at all on gimmicks7

Whom pays the, 3rd parties? Any scientific links (not blogs)?1 -
Love me some spark!0

While I'm not against their products...I am wary of them. I have found them to be useful. Not any more effective than eating real food in moderation. I am very wary of the ingredients. They feel like chemical cocktails.1

And the bolded part is the key, and why it makes no sense to waste money on MLM scam products. The only person who benefits from them in any way is the one selling them.1 -

In his profile, one of his goals states, "To be a walking billboard for Advocare and their products!!!". So I'd say there's at least a possibility that objectivity might not be a strong point.4
