 I'm doing LFHC now, but have been mostly paleo (but I would cheat) for about 2 years. After years out of the gym (two kids) I got back to the gym regularly during 2016 and now I am ready to shed the baby (and quit smoking) weight.

 I was strict this week on my diet and calories and plan to continue. For years I would have a few good most days then slip up, but I am done with the weight. It hurts my feet and knees when I am active and I like working out and walking so it has to go. I am being strict following the LCHF diet and not eating breakfast and morning snack. I have to say this diet works for me. I am never that hungry, having really powerful cravings ... and now no more major sugar drops!

            My weight loss is not at all linear, I could loose 5lbs in a few days, stay the same then put on 2lb, as long as it's going in the right direction in the long run then I'm ok with that.

            Woop first weigh in! It's only been a half week for me as I only started on Wednesday, but surprised and very pleased I've still made progress! I joined a new gym today (I hated my old one so much and just never went!) so hopefully now that I'm starting regular exercise I'll make even more progress!

            Okay, I'm in. This is one time I hate being the "Big Man on Campus", but after having CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) surgery back in June of '16, it's been a SERIOUS wake-up call to do something! I've only recently begun tracking my nutritional intake and think that MyFitnessPal software is an awesome product for helping me (us) doing that. Good luck EVRYONE!

 Simply find the post you want to quote and click the "Quote at the bottom of the post. This will open a new "Reply" window with the entire contents of that post already in it. You can then delete anything you don't need or want from that quoted text, and enter any NEW text that you want to comment on. Just make sure that you leave the opening and closing tags in place! For example, here's what I did to quote you in this reply…[quote="ellevin11;38534584"] (I don't know how to quote an earlier post so it is here in normal text (i would love to know how).) [/quote] Notice how I deleted everything that didn't relate to what I wanted to quote? I left the opening tag"[quote=...] , your statement, and then the closing tag "[/quote] ".
 FYI - the opening tag contains the users name, yours in this case, followed by a separator ";" and then the post number.
