Training/dieting for first competition

Any ladies out there have tips/tricks for dieting and training? I'm 5 ft 8 in.. 147 lbs...would like to be down to 130 and arpund 12 percent body fat.

Don't focus on a weight or a number - unless you have to be under a certain weight, it's irrelevant. No one cares about your weight or guesstimates bf% on stage
Personally, I use a coach to keep me accountable, and to decrease stress. I do IIFYM, so having someone telling me when to change macros, or do cardio stops me worrying.

My fiance competed and coaches me with a lot of the knowledge he has learned over the years. Definitely not focusing on numbers.. I was 5 lbs heavier before getting pregnant with my third son and definitely more defined. Looking for some female friends and dieting tips.0

Great! Do what he says, and don't listen to random strangers on the internet or people in the gym - you'll just get confused and second guess yourself and him. Trust the process!
(and stick to your diet.... Does he do your diet or give you macros?)0
