Ive been kind of checked out on life---super sedentary...now, I'm fighting to get through the simplest hurdles---i.e. a 15 Walk Away the pounds video....I keep cramping---so I have to stop and stretch. But I am determined!
I see now my goals are gonna have to be small chunks of victory...and build it brick by brick...
Any tips, motivating words, support, or shared experiences would be great if you don't mind.
Thanks!
Lucy

There's nothing wrong with small goals, often everything right with them. For myself and my wife, just getting started was the hardest part, and yes, aches and pains come along with it. To keep that in perspective thought, lean and muscular people also have their fair share of aches and pains too.
Stay with it, you can do this.1 -
Thanks for that really cool reply. I'll do it! Have you found any good you tube channels, books, etc. that are helping you guys through the pains of the journey? If so, please feel free to share :-)0

I don't see the journey as painful any more. I'm not "giving up" what I don't want, I'm gaining what I do want.
I personally really enjoy the "People are Awesome" youtube videos. There aren't any "How to's" in them, but the athleticism in many of them is super inspiring.1 -
The best thing you can do is build CONSISTENCY. Log everything you eat and do your best to hit your calorie (top priority) and macro goals. Start an appropriate workout plan that has you pushing yourself. Over time, you'll get better and will be able to push harder. You can do it. It's really simply a matter of can you stick to your plan long enough to get to your goals1
