Trying to be perfect enough to avoid being "written off" by people in 2017

Is exhausting. How do you people who manage to accomplish this feat avoid being objectionable to other people?

Write me off, I don't care. I am too old to give an eff.

I think you first have to not care what others think about you. Peoples opinions of you just don't matter. I don't keep people close to me who mistreat me. Whether it be so-called friends or family members. I just will not tolerate people being mean to me plain and simple. I expect the same as I give to people.

Yeah being perfect is pretty exhausting. B)

Not that I know anything about that but I heard from some perfect friends.

One thing that makes people insufferably objectionable is thinking "perfect" is a reasonable goal so ... maybe try being human?

Not sure if I am misunderstanding the purpose of the post. My goal for 2017 is to stop being written off by my wife as undesirable.

Not being objectionable? That's a tough call. I'm just trying not to fart in front of my wife anymore. That's all I got.

I think you will be happiest if you "do you". Not everyone will love you. Sometimes no one will. And sometimes it might be because you havent been very loveable. Be good to yourself and others and it will all work out.

Screw being perfect! It's overrated and the people who pretend to be are so disfunctional from seeking the approval of others that it is pathetic. Let your weirdness shine bright so the other weirdos know where to find you ;)

Gotta keep some mystery in the relationship or it goes south.

Keeping the mystery is only worth it if she still goes south. :o

You aren't perfect. You will never be perfect. Anyone who wants or expects you to be perfect should be the one cut off, because no one needs that kind of pressure or negativity in life.

Stop worrying about what other people think so much. It has to be tiring.

You can't be perfect and you can't make everyone like you. As other people have said, you do you!
