    I'm a massive music fan, got a pretty eclectic taste - my Dad is in a thrash metal band so I was bought up on things like Slayer and a bit of Iron Maiden, Metallica etc. I'm a pretty big Led Zep fan. But then I also love Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine and loads more!

    Florence Welch is fu**ing awesome!!! Her voice is so unique and amazing! I love that lady! <3

    The greatest band in the history of rock and roll will always be Motorhead. Fact.

    Lemmy is God.

    I still can't believe he's gone. I thought he'd live forever. That when the earth ends, all that would be left would be Lemmy and the cockroaches. We saw one of his last concerts and he was really weak - had to sit down for a few of the songs.

    My list:
    Rush
    Dream Theater
    Ghost
    Yes
    Kansas
    Motorhead
    Kraftwerk
    Led Zeppelin
    Black Sabbath (either Ozzy or Dio. So sue me)
    Iron Maiden
    Deep Purple
    Rainbow
    Dio
    Megadeth
    Yngwie Malmsteen
    Joe Satriani
    Steve Hackett
    The Mission UK
    Specimen
    Sisters of Mercy
    The Cult
    Stanley Turrentine
    Kenny Burrell
    Mannheim Steamroller

    Not too sure on genres, everyone seems to define them differently.

    Most bands I listen to seem to be power metal or symphonic metal.

    Nightwish, Sabaton, Epica, Sirenia, Sonata Arctica, Delain, Ne Oblivicaris etc

    A few other bands and song from other genres

    Any song that starts with the following lyrics:
    ~~~~~~
    I want to share your mouthful
    I want to do all the things your lungs do so well
    I’m gonna bed into you like a cat beds into a beanbag
    Turn you inside out and lick you like a crisp packet
    ~~~~~~

    Needs to be on your playlist.

    I've been in a kind of "Retro" mood lately, and I've been listening to a lot of the older American (West Coast) jazz; Dave Brubeck, Vince Guaraldi, Paul Desmond and the like.

    Can't get enough of the music that Vince Guaraldi wrote for the "Peanuts" (Charlie Brown) specials in the mid-1960's or for the 1959 Dave Brubeck "Time Out" album.

    Music is overrated. I mean, I enjoy it but I don't understand why some people have to have earbuds stuck in their ears 24/7. Geez folks, let the outside world speak to you - real people, the sites and sounds of the street, everyday life. Or just be still and enjoy the quiet.

    This PSA brought you by Q-Tip, the ear cleaner.

    People suck. I block out the entire world as much as possible. I do however enjoying massive headphones and loud *kitten* music with the bass booming.

    Party on Wayne.
