Started program last night (Monday night) so my weekly weigh in numbers will reflect that number starting this week.
Starting weight: 245 (1/4/17) My own weigh in Wed morning.

That gives us 3 whole months to work with. Typically habits are formed in 12 weeks so this time will give us a fighting chance for making healthy lifestyle choices and enforcing it with a downward trend on the scale and measuring tape!2 -

Hi raypackers! Thanks for starting this challenge.
In response to your question, if the challenge could go until March 31 instead of the 1st it would be preferable in my opinion. I probably won't reach the 20 pound goal regardless (realistically I should be aiming at a 1 pound per week loss at the weight I am at) but it sure would be great to get as close as possible by March 31. Those four extra weeks in this challenge would sure help ☺.1 -

Hello, I'd like to try this! I need support and motivation. Perhaps writing down my numbers every week will help. Thanks for starting this challenge, raypackers. I hope I'm not too late. I did take my weight down this past Sunday, so I will start with that.

31st is great for me! I'm feeling very positive, think this time might actually be the one I reach my goal at last! I've been so close before but never stick at it, but I'm excited this is the one!
I'm doing really well with food and I'm loving my new gym, been twice in 3 days and I'm going again today. I'm away visiting a friend this weekend so no chance to gym and sticking in my calorie goals is likely not to happen, so I'm hoping to just make healthy choices where possible but still enjoy myself
