New guy.

I am new but also not new to fitness and Myfitnesspal. I recently quit smoking 11/24/17 and have been very liberal with my eating. Due to several bad injuries over the past couple of years my fitness routine was pretty non existent. So when in doubt go back to the beginning I suppose. I joined the gym and am starting at ground zero with 62 lbs to lose to reach my goal. Not smoking will allow me to breath better and work harder so I am excited to try some new things and get back in the swing of fitness.

    I'm with ya!! Congrats on quit smoking!! I also just quit, it's been 3 months!! And im back into wanting to lose!! I am focusing on shedding 35 lbs but would love to be 50lbs lighter!! I have been changing diet to foods I enjoy that fill me!! High protein and lots of veggies!! I feel great, slight excercise (don't want to overdo it and hate it then quit) so not going crazy at first!
    I do not go to gym, but have bike,eliptical,trampoline,weights at home that I will use...
    Keep motivated and me posted!!
