I switched to a Keto diet right after Christmas. It has already changed my energy, mood, and I feel healthier! So far I am seeing the "fast" loss of such a diet switch, so now I am trying to stay motivated to keep up the low carbs and monitoring my sugar intake as well.

Oatmeal with cranberries and blueberries for breakfast. Big salad with ham lunch. Roasted veggies for dinner. (I made a couple days in advance!) veggie sticks and pot of decaf tea snack - everyday. This week will be more of a challenge - seeing friends for lunch ! (Just thrilled I got into the 160s - it's been a LONG time!)6 -

Hi,
Starting again. My goal is to lose weight for upcoming spring cycling events. Was successful at losing about 35lbs last spring and want to resume that weight loss. Been hovering around 241-245 for a few months and really want to make good progress in Jan. Feb. and March.

Went to the doctor today and got weighed (the dreaded doctor scale) and wouldn't you know that the doc's scale reads 6 pounds heavier than the one I use at home! I was a bit worried until a re-weighed myself when I got home and I miraculously lost those 6 pounds (ha ha). I'm sticking with the numbers I get from my home scale as inaccurate as it might be. They make me happier ☺. Guess I now have to reduce my goal weight by 6 pounds though. Shoot.1

I'm down 4lbs since new year! Feeling very positive as I wasn't expecting to be able to lose so much so easily, normally the pounds cling on for dear life.
I'm going away with friends this weekend so I can't stick to my food plan but we will be going for a big long walk along the coast and I will just have to make healthier choices if I can. Then back to the gym and strict eating plan on Monday. Only 14 lbs to go for me, I can do this!
