It depends on what you like to read.

I'd try Goodreads if you don't already use it.

What genre do you like? I like GA Aiken and Katie Macalister but those are paranormal fantasy romances.

These are some of my favourites that I've read lately:

Head Full of Ghosts - Paul Tremblay (really good ghost/possession story)
The Fireman - Joe Hill (sort of post apocalyptic/horror)
The Area X Trilogy - Jeff Vandermeer (sci-fi/horror)
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks - Rebecca Skloot (this is nonfiction, a fascinating story about ethics in medicine)
The Golem and the Jinni - Helene Wecker (magical realism/immigrant experience in turn of the century New York)
Atonement - Ian McEwan (romance/betrayal set around WW2)

I love Just Don't Fall by Josh Sundquist and Courage Beyond the Game by Jim Dent. I like sports (auto)biographies in general :p

Joe Hill....I have heartshaped box and NOS4A2 on my list to read

I think I've read all his books! I read a lot of graphic novels and found him by reading Locke & Key. I didn't find out who his father is until I started reading his novels. Now that I know, the influence is pretty clear. Haha! Heartshaped Box and NOS4A2 are both great.
