IIFYM meal ideas?

Hi everyone - I just plugged my info in to an IIFYM calculator, and here's what it told me to eat daily:
Calories - 1553
Protein - 38% - 145g
Fat - 36% - 63g
Carbohydrates - 26% - 99g
Fiber - 27g
That's a lot of protein, but I think if I make breakfast a protein bar or shake it will help. Is there anyone here who's followed IIFYM closely before? I'd appreciate meal ideas! I'm anticipating that this is going to be a pretty drastic change for me...

The whole point of IIFYM is to make it possible to eat in a way that suits YOU. If you think it's too much protein, then don't follow that suggestion. If you want any change to stick, don't make them too drastic.2

The whole point of me calculating it is because I want to try it. I'm looking for suggestions on how to hit the goals above.0

The Y is really important in IIFYM though. Those macro calculators are just one possible way to go. You should customize your macros to fit your personal preferences and needs.
What kind of meal suggestions are you looking for? What do you like to eat? What do you have access to? For protein, I increased mine by focusing on protein-rich snacks like string cheese, hard boiled eggs, and Greek yogurt. I also add extras like black beans or edamame to meals for a boost.1 -
I guess I'll just play around with some fake days in my meal diary to see how I can hit the goals. Thanks for the protein suggestions, Dianne - I used to be a vegetarian and I still try to limit my meat intake, so that's helpful.0

This website may help. No affiliation, but they allow you to search for recipes by macro counts! http://www.rippedrecipes.com0

IIFYM.com is not some kind of official IIFYM site and has no special insight into the right macros for you. It's bodybuilder-centric (although I am not dissing it, I like it), and tends to recommend high protein. From what I've read .8 g of protein/lb of healthy goal weight is plenty of protein to get the benefits for muscle when losing weight/trying to build muscle. However, if you want to try those specific macros (which is different from trying IIFYM), that's totally cool. I would recommend just logging some planned meals and playing around with them -- for that lots of lean protein, obv.0

I can get 145g of protein with a very mild deficit or in maintenance. It's not happening with my poverty macros at the moment though. You have to start off the day with protein, get at least 30g per meal, and snacks are protein based as well. Unless you weigh well above 145lbs I'd raise the carbs a little and lower protein.0

Protein shake with fiber powder added should help. Maybe 2.0
