Is Garcinia Cambogia a good idea to take for weight loss?

No, not really. A calorie deficit is the best way.
It will make your wallet lose weight, though.2 -

It might. Unfortunately you have to buy this research article, but the gist is there.0 -
Only a calorie deficit can cause weight loss. No magic pill.
Edited because fat thumbs.0 -
I don't think so. It's more a waste of money.0

I think the selling point is it is claimed to help with appetite suppression to help with the deficit. However, research has show it not only doesn't help with that, but it doesn't do anything at all. And not only that, but it is very common for supplement companies that make things like this to not even put the advertised ingredients in the pills. They'll put things like sawdust in the pill and sell it as wherever they want to stick on the label.1 -

Nope. No magic pills or potions work. Eat at a deficit, get some movement.2

It is a good weight loss regimen for your wallet.1

This "study" is from a low-quality, pay-for-publication journal. That doesn't necessary nullify the results, but I wouldn't believe a word of it unless the experiment were re-run and results published in more respected publication.
There's a much better, similar study in JAMA (it doesn't get much more respected that that!) that shows no statistically significant different between using this stuff and a placebo: http://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/1881473 -
No, waste of money0
