I have a weeks vacation coming up somewhere warm and sandy and need some reading ideas.

What's the last book you read that was really good?

I read just about anything. Probably lean toward drama and historical fiction, even YA. Any suggestions appreciated.

The last 3 "good" books I read for reference and suggestion:

The Glass Castle - Jeanette Walls
600 Hours of Edward - Craig Lancaster (whole series)
A Man called Ove - Fredrik Backman

Currently reading Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. I have no idea what's going on, and it's pretty fantastic.

I just finished 13 Hours in Benghazi. It was eye opening for me, and I couldn't put it down.

I have had that pop up on my feed several times. I may have to get it later this year when it comes out in paperback

    Fever by Laurie Halse Anderson
The Demon in the Freezer by Richard Preston (real-life type scary)
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (the only book she actually wrote well IMHO)
    Pompeii by Robert Harris
Confessions of a Prairie 8itch by Alison Arngrim (Nellie Olsen on LHOTP)

These should start you off. (edited to 8itch because they want to replace the b word with kitten)
