It's the same, other than harder on your wallet. I still buy fizzy water anyway.

Regular water is better. Carbonated drinks wear away at tooth enamel.

In terms of weight, there's no difference but as Brooke says, it's not great for your teeth.

Not sure if it's true. Sugary drinks aren't that great for your teeth, i don't believe carbonation has a negative impact.
As to your question, op, don't think there is i difference, whatever you prefer, just stay hydrated. I like Saint Pelegrino over perrier, so it's an individual thing.

The CO2 creates carbonic acid which lowers the pH of the water. So, I guess that means it could erode tooth enamel, but it's probably no worse than anything else. If the water is naturally carbonated (some Perrier may be), then it's possible the pH is equal to that of regular ol' tap water. In my experience with naturally carbonated waters locally, the pH runs between 8-8.5 due to the geology of the area. That's pretty much where tap water is in most municipalities.

    I love La Croix!

I will second this mostly because its cheaper and many flavors to choose from.

My favorite is Gerolsteiner but $$.

I like La Croix & Desani's flavored sparking water. No calories and no sugar and the sodium is either low or has none at all.
