Help me!!! 5 stone to loose

I am in the motion of trying to loose 5 stone. I have always been bigger and I used to blame it on my parents and gaining their bad Habits but there is not need for me to be this big any more. My weight has never affected me in the past until now where I cannot shop at certain foods or struggling with general day to day tasks I never thought I could struggle with. I am looking for a new life style not just a diet. I have been doing it two weeks now and I have stuck to it because I am being realistic and not starving my self and treating my self every so option. Does any body have any fitness ideas or meals that I can have which are convenient for me as I am a bit stuck with fitness as I don’t want to go to the gym and I would prefer to do something at home and just a little bit maybe 4 days out of 7. Any other advise is great I haven’t weighed my self from the last 2 weeks as I wanted to see what I could loose in the month. please give me hope as I know I am going to be doing this for a while and need to stay motivated! :)

    If you don't feel like going to the gym, why not old school it and add walking regular to brisk speeds.

    Walking is a great idea and fits in with your desire to change your lifestyle. Before you know it you'll be walking much more than before and actually enjoying the opportunity to do so.

    In terms of meals, habits etc, these boards are a great source of information and inspiration. I would advise incorporating MFP reading posts into your lifestyle. You'll pick up recipes, sensible advice and support every time. Search the latest two or three pages under Food & Nutrition to get some great ideas for recipes and food prep.

    Hi

    Ive lost 4st 5lb with mfp and just started walking. I found weighing everything is key and such an eye opener! I always eat my cals and 50%mof any exercise calories. If i have a bad day i draw a line under it and carry on eating healthy next day, dont. Dont Let a bad day turn into a a bad week. Roasted veg is my bulk every meal out go to.

    I've lost 5stone 10lbs since April, I didn't add any exercise until I was 4 stone down and that's only been weights.

    Weigh all you eat and eat foods you like, you can do this!
