    My heaviest was 290 three years ago. I had lost down to 228, but I "fell off the wagon" for months (more like a whole year!) and I'd really like a challenge to get me more motivated!

    I'm in too- my birthday is in June and want to be at my goal. Actually not sure exactly what that goal is yet but I've a ways to go and it's prob 30 or more away. I'll chose 146 since I'll be turning 46 :)

    I'm in. I want to lose 2 stone. I started just under 2 weeks ago, watching what I eat and trying to exercise more. My second weigh in is due Tuesday morning. My first weigh in, I lost 4 lbs.

    Weighed in this morning at 178.8 so I lost another pound pretty chuffed . For those asking about official weigh in days I don't really have one I kinda just weigh myself every few days but we can make a day if you all would prefer that?

    I started my weight loss journey at 175lb on 1/2/17. Trying to loose 1/2 to 1 pound a week. My daily calorie limit is 1520. I set mine to sedentary lifestyle. Sometimes I go over my max. I use a Vivofit 2 fitness band to monitor my steps. I walk 10k or more steps per day Mon to Fri. On weekends I average 6-7k steps. My biggest challenge is weight gain with PMS. My last weigh-in last week was 170 but this week it's 171 thanks to PMS. I'm thinking of not weighing myself until it's over. I weigh myself every Sunday. Since it's a lifestyle change for me, I want something I can maintain so I'm not eliminating any food just potion control and keeping track of calories. I never feel like binge eating and no crazy cravings since I eat what I like in small amounts. Anyway good luck to everyone in the group.

    A little about me, I am a 26-year-old pre-k teacher in NYC. I recently found out I was born with one kidney and the one I have is not functioning at 100%. Because of this, I have developed high blood pressure and just recently started on meds to control that. I have lost 60lbs in the past (twice) following Nutrisystem but I never made that lifestyle change so I gained it all back and then some. I'm going to be trying to follow a DASH diet to get my blood pressure under control, but I will mostly be following 21 Day Fix Portion Control. Finding time to hit the gym will be hard but I am aiming to work out every morning at home with the 21 Day Fix workout DVD.

    I had PCOS too (I guess I still do technically, not sure), took me quite a while to get pregnant with my second kid but when I got below 200 I got pregnant in no time and later got pregnant with my daughter when I got back to 200 again but still didn't have real regular periods. Well after having my daughter I found out I was gluten sensitive (caused rashes on my hands, etc) and lost 70 lbs in 5 months) I have kept off 50 of that (I was a little over 210 when I gave it up) and have only gained 20 from eating gluten free junk food ,have gained it over the last 2 years. But to the point, since losing that weight and not having gluten I have had no gyno issues related to PCOS and I have a normal cycle (well just a bit longer than most people I guess 30-34 day cycle) but haven't been regular like that ever before,even as a teen, my cycles would come every few months and occasionally I would have to take a medicine just to get a cycle. I am guessing it was the weight loss that changed by body,doubting gluten had anything to do with it but no clue,if you look up gluten sensitivity symptoms there are quite a few and many people have their symptoms go away after giving it up,not saying everyone should give up gluten but its worth looking into (not the same as celiac) and if nothing else it can be given up short term for jump start on weight loss (there are still plenty of carbs you can have such as rice and gluten free cereals,etc)
