Calling all music lovers. What is your favorite one hit wonder. Those of you may not know, it's a song that was done by an artist that went really high on the charts but it was their only hit. Quite a few of them. Right off hand: "Macarena" by Los Del Rio, "Who Let the Dogs Out" by Baha Men, "don't worry be happy" by Bobby McFerrin to name a few.

"Take on Me"
Though from what I understand, while not particularly popular in the States, they've had a pretty solid musical career pretty much everywhere else...4 -

I kinda disagree with that one. They had a few hits, though this is the only one that gets remembered.
Spandau Ballet ~ True .... as far as I know, this was their only hit

I hated that song when I was in grade 5 and I still can't stand it.
Lol. OMG,I don't blame you. Just horrible all over. My least favorite one hit wonder was never gonna give you up by Rick Astley.0 -

what's interesting is that this video was done in 1985 and even for today, some of the best special effects you'll ever see. MTV ripped them off and gave best video of the year to Dire Straits, Money for nothing. This video was clearly far more superior to that one.0 -

As for A-ha, they are from Norway and they blew up there and in other parts of Europe but this was the only hit to score big in the States. I guess if you're of the belief that the world is not centered in America, you can't really call them a one hit wonder, per se.0
