This week's successes: 25 days being smoke free, logging everyday and hitting the Gym 6 days! Reaching my goal to lose 5 lbs before my trip to Florida.
This week's challenges: I'm leaving in the morning for a 5 day trip to Florida. All meals will be out, so my plan is to always choose the "healthier" option! I got this!
Have fun in Florida and see you when you get back!2 -

Weekly WL: 4.1

This week’s successes: Logged every day; only one diet soda/day—eliminated regular. Started using my Fitbit, basic model. Don’t like it when it syncs with MFP as it allows more calories; that’s not why I’m walking. MFP said you could upgrade to premium to change…considering removing the sync capability.
This week’s challenges: When husband is out is when I have the least self-control. I had to remember this “former” TOPS pledge to keep me in check: “I am an intelligent person. I will control my emotions, not let my emotions control me. Every time I am tempted to use food to satisfy my frustrated desires, build up my injured ego, or dull my senses, I will remember, even though I overeat in private, my excess poundage is there for all the world to see. I will Take Off Pounds Sensibly.” I’m not hiding anything from anyone…
This week’s goals: Move more, continue eating right. Couple of dinner events; but not unusual for us.
Jan: 6.4 lbs; Feb: Mar: Apr: May: Jun: Jul: Aug: Sep: Oct: Nov: Dec:5 -
Oh Dear, despite a week of good dieting, I stayed the same 219lbs! I had a calorie deficit of 6,089 so I thought I might have lost 1-1half pounds in the week since the last weigh-in.
This week's challenge will be to keep plugging away and hope it's just a blip. I've been scrupulous about recording in the myfitnesspal diary, and recording the calories used according to by fitbit.
Good luck everyone, see you next week.8 -
I'll try this JM

MFP SW: 218.0

Current Weight: 208.4

Challenge Loss: 7.6 (14.6% of my way to 52 pounds!)
Total weight loss: 9.6
This week's successes: Now my five-year-old is sick (last week it was my eight-year-old). My sleep is totally messed up from being up so much in the night, but despite this, I’ve managed to get in five solid workouts and weigh and accurately log all my food. I did make sure to track all my workouts in MFP since my Polar H7 arrived. It's nice being able to track my heart rate without worrying about smashing my HRM watch.
Upcoming week's challenges: Same as last week: sleep, time, and making sure my diet is on track in terms of protein intake so I don’t get too fatigued with weight and kettlebell workouts.

Current weight: 226 lbs
Week weight loss: +1lbs
Total weight lost:5lbs
This week's successes: Measured myself and lost inches, so that balances no weight loss.
This week's challenges: Analysing where and how to best reduce calories. I was marginally over calories for the week (average of 40 calories a day excess) but felt hungry on a couple of days, so I need to assess the good days and adapt accordingly. Also have 3 days in Dublin so no chance of weight loss next week.3 -

Starting weight: 214.6 lbs
Goal weight: 155lbs
Current weight: 214.6lbs
Total weight lost: This is my first day on this challenge
This week's successes: eating healthy all week and somehow managed to get to the gym 2 times when i have a baby/work full time/college full time studying fitness health and nutrition
This week's challenges: I have a big assessment week so fitting the gym in and studying may conflict.
Week 2
Starting weight: 214.6 lbs
Goal weight: 155lbs
Current weight: 208.2lbs
Total weight lost: 6.4lbs
This week's successes: I lost 6.3lbs this week im so happy weighs the same as a 1 metre tall baby kangaroo. Target was 2lbs a week so im happy
This week's challenges: my son was at grannys this weekend so we had a wee drink so need to go ti the gym more than my usual twice a week this week and stick to diet religiously to hit 2lbs target
Week 3
Starting weight: 214.6 lbs
Goal weight: 155lbs
Current weight: 210.2lbs
Weight Lost this week: 2lbs GAIN
Total weight lost: 4.4lbs
This week's successes: I went to the gym twice this week for the full 1 hour session each time and I have written up an exercise plan with beginners FITT principles in place, Target was 2lbs a week so I'm happy because in total my goal by this week was to be 4lbs in total loss so I'm on target and will not let this week get to me - I'm also upping my gym days to 3 times per week so I'm getting the weekly recommended cardio and Resistance training per week
This week's challenges: I'm not drinking any alcohol this weekend as (1) I have my son and (2) I did enough of that last weekend with my son being at granny's that's what definitely through me off as didn't eat/drink clean 2/3 days. Its also going to be hard upping my gym to one more day as with work and college and the gym so far I'm missing my son so so much but I'm doing this for him. Also finding time to meal prep so to not spend on quick healthy expensive things when I can do that at home.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind words, and encouragement. I have kept up with my food and exercise goals. I also had a heart-to-heart with my fiance. We are going to work on this relationship, which means both of us have some changes to make. Thank you again.15
