What are your thoughts on Apple cider vinegar??? Supplements or liquid. Has anyone had added success using this?

It might taste good if you add it to the right food. Otherwise? No. It does nothing for weight loss. That's a myth.2

Will do nothing for weight loss. Calorie deficit for weight loss.2
-
I've observed it appear to help cats with urinary tract issues.2

How does acv supposed to work? I would think there would be no weight issues if it worked.3

I personally love ACV. Use it in my tea, cured my boyfriend's acid reflux, great for your skin, and so much more!1

Many uses for acv - but weight loss isn't one of them.3
-
Does it create a calorie deficit? No
Does it speed up your metabolism? No
Does it suppress your appetite because it tastes so vile? Possibly
Is it an effective supplement for weight loss? Absolutely not

Here we go again.
ACV is 2017 ketones.5 -

#5436?
OP, my thoughts are that it's nice as a salad dressing component. I've had lots of success making delicious dressings with it.0 -
I started the ACV supplements on 1/27/16
I also started cinnamon supplements too. They Biotin and Chromium Picolnate in them too.livingleanlivingclean wrote: »RuNaRoUnDaFiEld wrote: »Here we go again.

While it's not a miracle drug, I keep a bottle around for recipes that call for white vinegar. Might seem silly, but I use distilled vinegar to clean the floors and restroom. The association is a little strong for me to use it in cooking.
I made some amazing pickled eggs with a week ago.1 -
Lovely in salad dressings. It also gets limescale off taps!0

It's great as bait to kill gnats/fruit flies.2

I really love vinegar. It stinks, but I pour a little essential oil into my solutions to mask it2 -
It helps me with heartburn sometimes. If you eat more calories than you burn and take ACV you will still gain weight. It won't lower your appetite and it won't burn fat. If you want to burn more fat than you are currently, add a few days in at the gym.0

I'm going to get some acv today. I'm making pulled pork. I will have great success with dinner tonight.4

There really isn't anything out there to back the many claims of ACV0

It's great on cooked cabbage.2

It is not a miracle substance but appears to have certain scientifically proven benefits...

I heard you have to get the one with mother in the bottle for it to be any good. But weight loss is still a mother regardless.

AuthorityNutrition - in spite of its misleading name - is not an authority on nutrition.
"6 Proven Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar"
The major giveaway is the use of "may" and "can" instead of "does" throughout that fluff piece.
So, bottom line, the allegedly 'proven' benefits (the cancer one is my personal favourite) are anything but.5 -
Actually, over consumption of apple cider vinegar is likely to result in damage to your teeth and throat irritation. The "healthful" stuff attributed to it is pure bunkum. Use it for culinary purposes. A tablespoon of it gives a boost to yeast in some bread doughs by enhancing the acidic environment for them. I am not a yeast. It's a delicious addition to red cabbage that helps keep its color. I am not a red cabbage.3

If you like ACV, cook with it. Does it do anything at all to aid or assist in your weight loss? Absolutely, unequivocally, indisputably, undeniably NO. No, it does not help weight loss.1

If that is true that might actually be a really good use of it for me - just one question, how do you manage to get it into the cat?1 -

Oral syringe and lots of protective clothing (for you, not the cat).1 -

LMAO.
In all seriousness though, please don't start giving this to your pets, people!1
