I have a question for you.
Since September, I have lost 35lbs. I only have more 15lbs to go, to get to my goal weight.
That being said, with the weight loss, I also lost my *kitten* (Butt).
I am 53y/o female and really, do not want a flat butt. Any suggestions as the best exercise to rebuild my tushy?

As we lose fat, it comes off all over. I also have basically no butt, and of course that's where the inches come off fastest rather than my waist, which is where I want it to come off!!

Squats of all kinds are great. Bridge and warrior poses in yoga are good. Google "butt-building" excercises and see what works for you. I am hoping that my waist will catch up and make my hips and booty stand out more.

    ^ That.

If I had to chose 1 exercise solely for glute development it would be some form of a loaded hip thrust.

I did this as well. Took my hips down from 44 inches to 37 inches, then built back up to 40 inches doing glute work from Strong Curves (and eating in a surplus), though you could do it in maintenance.

I had to build mine back up after weight loss as well. Get on a lifting program (strong curves really focuses on glutes, but I started with Strong lifts). Keep your deficit small so you don't lose too much more muscle.

I just ordered a book called the Year One Challenge for women: Thinner, Leaner, and Stronger in One Year. It gives you a detailed work out plan every day five days a week for an entire year! I recommend it. It's only 13 dollars.
