Yep! I just had some last night and might have more again tonight.
80+ lbs down so far and still going.
As long as it fits into your calorie goals, go for it! Popcorn can be a great low calorie snack.

If it fits within your calorie limit ... sure.

Why wouldn't it be? Unless you don't like it, it doesn't fit your goals or you're allergic or something...

Just wanted to point out that popcorn is a whole grain and is packed with fiber. :)

Popcorn is great, just beware of the microwave kind. The one i have is 450 calories for a 100g bag :(

I wouldn't go to the movies without it!

As others have said, foods aren't "good" or "bad" to eat in a vacuum. If it fits your day, you're hitting your nutritional requirements and it's going to satisfy you - have at it.

I LOVE popcorn! I eat it about 2x a week, with lots of coconut oil. Yes, I consume about 800+ calories each time, but I factor that in, and am losing weight on track. Did you know that while corn is one of the most common GMO foods, popcorn is not GMO? I was buying organic, then did some research and found that out. I noticed that Orville Redenbacher now notes they are non-GMO on their packaging - yay! (I don't microwave it - I cook on stovetop.) Enjoy!

Of course! The only thing is that I tend to see a small spike on the scale within a day or two if I eat a whole bag. It's just water weight though, which happens whenever I eat a bit more sodium than usual, and always goes away pretty quickly.

I measure out 34 grams of kernels, then pop them in an air popper. Add about 7 grams of melted butter, salt, and enjoy my snack. The whole shebang is around 200 calories. And it's filling, too.

Me too, CVS makes a basic brand, kettle corn. I eat the entire bag but the size is only about 3 servings if I remember correct. There must be a bit much sodium in it though I I retain weight whenever I eat it so I limit myself to a bag a week.
