I am doing the Keto Diet. Will fitness pal help with this type of diet?

I want to know if I can set specific grams of protein, carbs, and fat to accommodate my diet.
Anyone on Keto using fitness pal?

I'm not doing low carb/keto but you can modify the % of calories allocated to carbs, fat, protein.

myfitness pal is great for logging, you can use it to log on your diet. i dont think this app tracks the net carbs so you'll have to calculate for that

There are many in the Low Carber Daily MFP group. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

Most keto'ers set macros approximately at:

    Carbs 0-10% - often 0 to 50g, with many starting around 20g.

Protein 15-35% with most around 20-25%.

Fat fills in the rest. Often between 60-80%.

Mine, for a 5'8" sedentary, middle aged woman who had 40lbs to lose, were 18g carbs, 71 g protein, and 118g fat (5/20/75) at 1420 kcals, but I generally went to 1500 kcal instead.

Try a TDEE calculator to figure macros out. https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/

I cannot figure out how people stay at 20g carbs, I've been struggling to stay below 50g but then again I know I should pay more attention to net carbs and MFP doesn't track this.
