So, I'm just wondering, if I tweaked my macros to be higher protein, lower carb, would that have any effect on recomp, speed it up, or not? I'm currently on 40/30/30, so that's about 180g carbs, 60g fat, 135g protein. I weigh 147lbs at 5'10", I'm 41, and working hard to build muscle & lean out.

No, it won't speed it up.

My protein and fat remain relatively constant whether I'm in a cut or maintenance...when I cut, I tend to reduce carbohydrates...when I'm back at maintenance, they go up. Carbs are actually beneficial to building lean mass. I think upping your protein at this point won't have any benefit really...beyond 1 gram per Lb of LBM, there really isn't much benefit...you're just making expensive glucose.

Oh good, I do love me some carbs! I'll stick with this split then.

Macros look fine to me and doubt making changes will speed things up.
Effectiveness of your training and your genetics are going to set the speed of change.

Thanks. I'm building muscle fast, I'm pleased with that. But I don't seem to be leaning out.

Nah. Those macros are good. Protein is up high enough and the carbs are nice to train with.
