Setting up goal/profile

I am not new but it has been about 6 years since I joined and have been a bit MIA the last couple years.
Anyway I want to adjust my diet profile.
Right now it is set to Lightly Active and I let fitbit adjust accordingly. I want to disconnect my fitbit from MFP totally so I am trying to figure out activity level.
I aim to walk 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day would that be considered active? very active?
How can I tweak that goal number to be total food/exercise.
I want my "goal" to be the amount I need with added exercise in and all.
Right now it is at 1520 but like I said it adjust for fitbit steps. I log no other activities at this time.

Personally, I'd consider that light. I consider active something more than walking 3 or more days a weeks. I consider very active 5+.
The best way to figure out how many is to test it every day. Weight, age, sex, and metabolism all play into it. 10k for me is a different calorie burn than for you. Adjust accordingly to make it fit your goals.0 -

I am walking 10,000-12,000 steps per day every day. Without my fitbit I am not sure how to test it that is why I was more wondering how MFP calculates the activity level. I think we use to be able to adjust the goals number manually but I no longer see that option.

Just click "edit" in that top box that has your calories.1 -
