Hello!

I am starting a 12 week plan since I do better at panning for smaller goals at a time. I am 160 currently and 5'4". If I workout with moderate intensety 4 times a week and eating less than 1500 calories a day, what is a good weight goal to set? I don't want to set it too low and be disappointed since I'm not really sure how to set goals for myself, nor do I want to make myself sick.

Thanks!

    I'd say 145 - 150 after 12 weeks.

Assuming you want to lose 30ish lbs (just guessing since you didn't say) I would say 150-155 in 12 weeks, if you follow your plan and wright your food. That's 0.5-1.0 per week, very reasonable. My suggestion is don't get hung up on a number you can't control. Make your goals what you DO: weighing & logging, proper nutrition, exercise, etc. A lot less frustration & disappointment that way.

I agree with Anna. I'm 5'7 currently 161lbs, started MFP (again) on january 1st at 169.9. My goal is to be around 145-150 by the end of March.
