Congratulations fellow traveler. We are on a similar path.
I hit overweight BMI on 2/1, weighed in at 199.4 this morning and am working on transitioning a favored walk into a run by alternating running and walking every two minutes.
ENJOY
That's awesome - congrats to you as well!
How is the transitioning walk/run going?
Weather and time have meant only four outings but there is progress.
I use the Fitbit app in exercise mode for timing. I walk till the first voice cue announcing a mile then start the run cycles. I think there are ten segments in the route.
The first time out I ran the first two minute segment, came up about 15 seconds short the second(hill), made the next two, failed the next two then walked the rest of the way. Last time out I made all segments.
Endurance being the goal at this point, mile times are but a curiosity but my best was 13:20. Compared to the 20:00+ times when I first started walking in October at 270lbs, I am pleased.
Good luck with the rehab.

I reached 85 lbs lost this morning so I get to reset my mini goal to 90. At my current pace, I should be back in three weeks for the next one.14

That's fantastic progress - both the weight loss and the endurance!0 -

Going on vacation in a little over 3 weeks to warmer weather and less clothing, would like to lose 3 more pounds before to get to mid 170's. I will be seeing a lot of people who havent seen me since started weight loss7

As I just checked mini-goal #1 off the list, it's a good time to focus on the next mini-goal:
#2 is despite having two trips to the Caribbean planned in the next 2 weeks, I will come back on March 6th and be, at least, today's goal, if not 4.3lbs less! That means moving more, less alcohol and no to ALL the food.5 -
Just reached my mini-goal! It was to drop into the "overweight" BMI range, which is 207 for me. Woke up this morning at 206.8! Celebratory bike ride on new indoor trainer!
Next goal: 199.9.
Celebration plans: Sign up for rowing classes this summer!16 -

Congratulations @TmacMMM! Feels good, doesn't it?3 -
to be out of tje 220's I was so happy to see them and I will be just as happy to say good but. And to get back into my lifting routine....I've been sick.6

Mini goal 30 pounds lost. That will leave me with only around 100 left8
-
Lose another 4kg (well 4.8kg since the scale's giving me attitude right now).
That would put me at 79.9kg. Don't think I was ever that light as an adult. Still 8kg off healthy BMI, but considering I started at 115kg... I'd say not bad.
Bike the 7km to the nearest grocery store and back (bike's ordered... can't wait to get it!)7 -
Right now the goal is 131, which is less than 2 lbs away. As I get closer to the 120s I feel like I'm crawling towards the finish line. Oh well, whatever it takes!8

to get to onederland by my April vacation.6

Just broke up with a boyfriend of 3 years. Need something to distract myself. Might as well choose something that'll make me look and feel awesome!18

Nothing to it but to do it. I am former member myself and you can absolutely do it. Just take it one day at a time.4 -

SW 376 (2013)
CW 224
GW 188 (50% of SW)
Now at 221.8
Lose 1.9# to be under 220
Then 10 more, then then 10 more, then ten more AND then set a GW!

And my mini goal is losing my first 30 lbs, 23 left10
-
Mine is to lose these final five pounds. I've changed my settings to lose 0.5/wk instead of 1/wk - hoping this helps me to stick to it more and stay under. Will try increasing gym time as well.10
-
I am so close to onederland, I CAN TASTE IT!!! I can not remember a time in my entire adult life (about 13 years) that I have been under 200 lbs. 17 lbs to go!20
-
Getting down 18 pounds to where I was last august and having all my clothes fit right! I can't wait13
-
-
-Overweight instead of obese
- get to my initial starting weight 3 years ago (I'm 15 pounds away from that).10 -
I want to complete an obstacle course while on vacation this upcoming summer. In the past, I was always over the allowed weight limit.12
-
Had set three goals originally.......
1. Get below 200 - Achieved 2/11/17
2. Get out of obese range and into overweight: 2/4/17 - just barely snuck in under the line but I will take it!
3. Recover from a knee injury and start running again. - Achieved 2/18/17! So excited to get our for a run this afternoon. GP gave the all-clear to start running again! WooHoo! Cautioned me to be smart about it - yeah, I can do that!
New goals:
1. First 10 lbs.
2. Got to think about this
11 -
Lose 10 more pounds
Sleep 8 hours every night
Stop caring about things that don't matter.14 -
1) 4 more pounds by March 1st.
2) 10 pounds in March. This will take dedication, watching what I eat closely, and making sure I exercise at least 5 days a week.9
