Wondering if the "rules for dating my daughter"still apply to a "boyfriend" that is actually a girl. This whole "trans" thing has me seriously confused.
The answer is yes, in the sense that:
-Your rules are obeyed, such as curfew, the letting you know where they're going, etc.
-She doesn't feel pressured to do anything she doesn't want to do, and she's encouraged to respect herself and her body the way you raised her to.
-Respect is shown for you, your family, and your home.
I don't know how much the tiny details change just because your daughter's boyfriend can't get her pregnant, but I wouldn't imagine it changes much at all. You expect anyone your daughter is dating to act a certain way and treat her a certain way, period.2 -

Self-medicating with alcohol. *kitten* hell my shoulder hurts today. OTC painkillers aren't even touching it. Will be yelling at my doctor on the phone tomorrow.
(Yes, I'm aware this is problematic. Yes, I'm aware mixing painkillers and alcohol is not good for me. But if anyone wants to lecture me, send me some Vicodin first. On second thought, send me Vicodin even if you don't want to lecture me.)0 -
