    Safe yes.
Effective, not. Raspberry ketones are proved to aid fat loss in mice. We are not mice, which is the culprit.

Both choline and caffeine are supposed to help improve your ability to exercise for longer periods of time. It won't do anything for weight loss beyond allowing you to burn more calories. If you replace those calories then your weight loss will remain the same.

I don't have any sources to back me up because it was a long time ago and I'm wayyyy too lazy to dig that up, but when I was doing my license I once stumbled accross a scientific research that did indeed find out that this component of the raspberry was linked to weight loss, HOWEVER, I remember reading that the quantity of this raspberry-chemical had to be in such high amounts that it would be impossible that those tiny pills made any difference (something like either multiple hundreds or thousands of rasberries to have one dose of the chemical).

Sorry, wish I could put the link here, but it was a legit study made by a foreign university (somewhere in Asia?).

A variety of experiments were done on mice and have ecological validity so, I'm gonna go ahead and enjoy them.

Enjoy them, but they are not going to help you lose weight. Except for maybe psychologically.

I like the Pure Encapsulations brand of 7-Keto DHEA.

See this website: http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-835-7-keto-dhea.aspx?activeingredientid=835 for information about it. It doesn't add testosterone / estrogen.

I am also looking for something to address fatigue and boost metabolism. There is some evidence that Adrenal Glandular (Whole and Cortex) also help. BUT, there isn't a lot of information on the adrenals or the adrenal cortex - you are entering uncharted territory. There are websites that address Adrenal Fatigue - but not really any that discuss how supplementing with desiccated adrenals can assist with balancing hormones, address depression, increase metabolism. It's as if once they discovered prednisone cured Addison's they quit studying what the adrenals did. I liken this to the fact that once they discovered a synthetic thyroid drug, they threw desiccated thyroid away (despite the fact that it has a LOT more different hormones in it than just the dominant one in levoxyl).

See this website for an overview: https://metabolichealing.com/the-endocrine-journey-steroidal-hormones-their-pathways/

See this website: http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/features/adrenal-fatigue-is-it-real#1 to read about adrenal fatigue.

I **have** been experimenting with the Pure Encapsulations - Adrenal - 60ct (whole adrenal (bovine) 150mg adrenal cortex (bovine) 80mg and found that it's actually too strong for me, so I have switched to two other products that are much weaker (I am post menopause and on natural HRT and adding it stimulated a full-blown period...) I took my Vivelle Dot patch off and I am thinking that I may not need it if an adrenal glandular works for me.

Be aware that the first few days of taking Pure Encapsulations - Adrenal - that it is very stimulating -- and you don't want to take 4 on day 1. I never got past needing 1 - I cannot image taking 4 of them a day. Take it early in the morning -- because you will be up for hours. See Amazon.com for both positive and negative product reviews.

All of this aside, neither will help you really if you aren't eating clean. You need to consider also removing all plastics and synthetic chemicals from your home. That includes your detergents, perfumes, hand cream, dryer sheets, etc. which contain endocrine disruptors.

No need for nasty comments. I wanted to know what people thought. I've never tried them so didn't know. Harsh much.

I wonder.... why bother asking if you're just going to do them anyway?

But....there is absolutely no proof whatsoever (apart from the positive reviews by the actual company- fake reviewers) that they work. Everyone was basically trying to get you to stop wasting money on woo.

Read up the basic science of weight loss, and you'll start to understand WHY weight loss supplements such as these don't work and WHY do many agree that weight loss supplements endorsed by Dr Oz do not work...

Think about it: if this product does indeed work, why are there still overweight people walking around?

You can take them, but unregulated supplements aren't risk-free, and these won't cause fat loss.

I was pretty shocked by the use of the term "mongoloid" tbh, perhaps it does not bother you if you've never known anyone with Down Syndrome, but I have and I hate it.

I'm sorry if you feel sad because you don't get to use words that hurt people in order to express yourself, and I'm sorry that you think it's unfair that you can't just freely insult people who can't speak up for themselves, but I think you can probably just stick all that up your jumper as far as I'm concerned. Your distress at the limiting of your vocabulary fails to move me to tears. English has plenty of kitten words to choose from. Go find another one.

thats what Mongoloid means? i mean i knew it was offensive, but i always assumed it was a derogatory term aimed at mongolian people
