BLACK SEED OIL

Options
I have recently added black seed oil to my diet. I'm interested to learn about:

1. Your personal success story using this product and the brand you use.
2. Any brand comparisons you or your friends may have tried. Which one rendered the best results.

While visiting my mother in NY, a long time family friend, shared his success with black see oil. He is 50 years old. He has always suffered with wicked bad acne as a teen and an adult... and tried EVERY treatment known to man. Anytime I've seen him he has always had an active red raised acne break-out on his face in addition to all the scarring/puck marks left from previous break-outs. He was encouraging my mother to start taking black seed oil as she has a myriad of minor health problems. He said he began taking black seed oil last year. At the time he was riddled with back pain (from two motor vehicle crashes which caused permanent damage and knee pain from years of playing sports.) He was taking gabapentin 4 times a day, percocet, and tramadol for break-through pain, as prescribed by his specialist. Without it, he says it was almost impossible to do any physical activity. He states he did a lot of research and began taking black seed oil. In capsule form because he read the reviews for the liquid where people said it tasted like a solvent. After, about 4-6 wks, he said his back pain went away. After about 2 months his knee pain went away. He says he's breathing better (I think he had some form of seasonal allergies), he has more energy and most importantly he is pain free. He no longer takes any pain medication. In fact he doesn't any prescriotio medications at all. Additionally, which was very remarkable to me, was his skin. No red flamming out-break. His face was shiny and glowing. Though there is still some visible scarring his overall complexion was much-much smoother.

I am a nurse. Once back at work I began asking if anyone had every heard of black seed oil. One of the nurses I work with said her daughter had terrible seasonal allergies and asthma. A couple years ago her daughter suffered an exacerbation of respiratory symptoms. She was prescribed inhalers, nebulizer treatments, steriods and an antibiotic. The symptoms continued to linger. She researched black seed oil and gave it to her daughter. She took the liquid orally and in the form of steam inhalation therapy, by adding the oil to a bowl of hot water and having her daughter breath it in. She said there was an IMMEDIATE improvement in her symptoms. Now as a family they take it in capsule form. Her daughter no longer has any respiratory issues at all.

I, myself, have only been taking black seed oil for about 5 days. What I've noticed is my sleep has been so much better since day one. My fitbit sleep tracker was full of red beams (showing how many times I'd been awake through the night) and pale blue lines (showing how many times I'd been restless, up to 50). Once I started taking black seed oil there have been zero red beams and significantly less or zero pale blue beams.

Also I have lost 7lbs. Almost effortlessly. The only changes to my routine being black seed oil and drinking more water. (I've always been terrible about drinking water.)

I am using 'Sweet Sunnah' brand. I take 3 teaspoons a day, usually after meals. (The top on this product is not very good. It twists all the way around clicking past the seal point)

Like anything else, there are loads of brands on the market. All toting to be the best. From the reviews, it seems every brand renders positive results. I'm interested in using a good product with a solid reputation that renders maximum efficacy.

I find your post so fascinating! In the Islamic hadiths (the historical record of things the Prophet Mohammed said and did), the Prophet said: "There is healing in the black seed for every disease except death.” So Muslims, especially in the Middle East, use black seeds in many recipes.

I just wanted to share that. Unfortunately, I don't have any personal experiences with black seed oil, so I have no recommendations for a brand.

Hi. I am using black seed oil aswell. Tried a few brands and my favourite is Hemani because it is 100% pure and it's stronger than other black seed oils I've tried. I take black seeds too. Also recommended to my father he has sleep problems and it improved his sleep too. I am overall healthy person don't have medical conditions so can't say what it has done to me. But I believe it is such abeneficial gift that God has given to mankind.

It has definitely improved my sleep.

I have recently tried Amazing Herbs brand. It is stronger than The Sweet Sunnah I had been taking.

I have read some good reviews about Hemani brand. I will look into that again. Thank you so much for your reply.

I usually just swallow the seeds whole, is the oil much better? Some of the foods recommended in the Muslim religion containing cure and great benefit. Dates, olives, Honey, vinegar, pure milk....

I use the seeds whole as well, a tea spoon in warm water with a teaspoon of jambhul honey, twice a day. I am certainly sleeping better.
