Calories in Grilled Veggies

How does the nutritional content change in grilled veggies? I have a Digital Nutrition Food Scale, so that helps me with the fruits and veggies, but I'm assuming that info is before you actually cook it.
Also, how many calories is there in 4 oz of Boneless Fryer Breast? It was bought from a local supermarket and it didn't have any nutritional info. on it.
Thanks in advance!

The calorie change would be due to water leaving the vegetables while they're cooking. So while you might have 8 ounces of vegetables raw, it could cook down to 5 ounces when grilled (this is an example). But the calories would be pretty much the same as when they were 8 ounces -- which is why it's generally more accurate to weigh things raw and log that weight.

when you weigh is irrelevant (raw vs cooked) as long as you log it correctly.
For example when I BBQ hamburgers I can't weigh them all out and know which one I am getting so I log it BBQ burger or Roasted chicken breast.
it won't be perfect but when you can't weigh raw it's the best alternative.0 -

In both cases it really depends on how it was cooked. If the grilled veggies were brushed with butter or olive oil before they were grilled, obviously you would need to account for that. Unless you eat a ton of veggies or are eating starchy veggies, the veggies themselves really don't have that many calories/gram so I would just log the veggies as raw or boiled then add some olive oil. Not perfect, but it really won't matter much in the scheme of things.
As for the chicken, it is probably 4oz raw. Again, you have the option to use a raw entry or a cooked one. Just be sure that you adjust for the cooking style or use an entry that is appropriate. If you use a cooked entry, you can adjust the weight by using about 75% of the weight due to water & fat losses - that is a rule of thumb that I have found is pretty close for chicken, so you would log about 3oz cooked (or be conservative and stick with 4oz).1 -
Thanks everyone for the response. I will continue weighing things raw and using that info.
@Gaucho Mark I try not to use oil when cooking to avoid the extra calories. My food comes out a little more burned looking lol but it's no big deal :P0 -
