Hello everybody

Evening all, been logging my food/exercise for nearly a week now and had better say hello!

I`ve not long had a significant birthday which I`d rather forget about (40), and am a cyclist, through and through, riding between 100 and 200 miles each week.

Anyhow, over the last couple of years I have crept up to 14 st 5 (or 209 lbs) and it can`t carry on. I was very fond of the beer, which I packed in the day after Christmas and was in the frame of mind that I could ever whatever I liked because I ride a bike every day......NO!! I want to get back to 12 stone (168 lbs), and being 5ft 11ins tall should be possible. My first week has gone well, and will see what the scales say tomorrow.

On here I`m allowed 1570 calories each day, which can be tough when I`ve got a 30 mile round trip to work, but we`ll see how it goes!
