I was wondering if anyone has used the new Jillian Michaels app? There are part of the app that our free but I was wondering if it was worth the monthly subscription. I know she recently re-launched the app and it is suppose to be more interactive. I really enjoy her workout dvd's, even though they kick my butt. I just wanted to see if this is something worth trying out. Thanks for any information or insight anyone might have!

I absolutely love it and I hate working out. The app can adapt to your level and needs with each workout. Never boring.Totally worth the money!

I just did the first workout last night (had to wait until it was available on Android). I really liked it. I did pay for the subscription and think it's worth it. I also got an email yesterday that said the monthly price will be going up for new subscribers on 3/2. So if you haven't already and want to lock in at the lower price, better do it today.

I just subscribed to the Android version over the weekend and I'm on Day 5 of using it every day.

    Pro:

-Workouts are great, quick, and leave you panting and sweaty. I did Day 1 of Booty Boot Camp the first night, and collapsed after the first 15 minutes because the workout was so *good*.
-You can turn music on (it takes me to Google Music) right before the workout starts
-Variety of workouts/zones, so you can focus on a specific area
-Can customize the workouts to level of difficulty and what equipment you have - after a workout is finished it asks if it was Easy/Perfect/Hard and adjusts based on your feedback
-Has a healthy meal planner if you're interested in that, including a grocery list
-Has a problem specifically for new moms trying to get back into shape post-baby that takes into account C-sections and separated abs (I wish I had had access to it after my second was born last year)

    Con:

-The workouts take forever to load for me (well, a few minutes anyway), and I usually have to reboot the app or repeatedly press the Start Workout button
-My Results page is off by a day, and doesn't always record the workouts I've completed. Doesn't affect anything, but it drives the OCD part of me a little wild

For me, the workouts alone are worth the $3.99/month subscription right now. It's a nice mix-up from her workout DVDs that I usually use. I love being able to just do a 20 minute ab workout if that's what I'm looking for that day, or if I just want a little "extra" I can do one of the quick/free 5 minute circuits.

I read somewhere that you're supposed to be able to link it to MFP, but I still have yet to figure out how.

The app syncs to Apple Health App when used on iPhone. Then you have to manually type what you did to my Fitness pal. The app will open My Fitness Pal when you want to log your own meals.

I just installed the app yesterday and started the Slim in 60 program. Should've gone for the fitness for beginners one, considering how long it had been since my last proper workout, but I have no regrets. My arms are KILLING me today
