Protein Latte (for coffee lovers)

1 cup brewed coffee
1 tsp raw, virgin coconut oil
1/4 cup unsweetened milk of choice
1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
1/2 scoop your favorite chocolate protein powder (I like Slimquick Pure Double Chocolate)
Warm the coconut oil and milk for 30 seconds and then throw everything in a blender and give it a whirl! Perfect post-workout drink to get me through until breakfast and I feel like I am having a special treat but it is so much better than the chemical coffee creamers (although I love them so).
Try adding vanilla protein powder and a TB of pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice for a pumpkin
spice latte or a few drops of peppermint extract and a tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder for a peppermint mocha.

They all sound wonderful. I'vej always wondered, does the coconut oil give the coffee a greasy taste? Especially once it starts to cool?0

When prepared in a blender or bullet I haven't found that to be the case but the collagen peptides and protein powder might also play a part in that0
