Help with constant nausea! :(

I really hope someone can help me out. I am taking a six week challenge where I am aiming to lose six oercent body fat. No one else in my group seems to have a nausea issue...
I am on day five and I have been nauseous since day two. I have a really strict meal plan so I can't have crackers or ginger ale. The problem is that food I normally would not have a problem with are making me sick just at the sight or smell of them. I keep trying to eat healthy foods, but I feel sick all day and a few bites into my meal I am gagging and ready to throw up. I know it has to be psychological because if I smell or think of unhealthy food, I don't feel queasy and I actually enjoy the scent. I haven't ate as much as I should be because its been impossible to keep anything down.
Has anyone else dealt with 24/7 nausea like this? My trainer tells me its mind over matter, which may be true, but I cannot overcome a food aversion is such a short time and grt the nourishment I need at the same time. I really want to cheat in the meal plan, mainly because I feel crappy all of the time. Please, any advice would be helpful.
Edit: I am at 29% body fat and I am aiming to get down to 23%. I wasn't advised to count calories, but I continue to because it is a habit and I want to be sure I am getting the minimum. I have been able to choke down 700-1000 calories a day, and I am doing HIIT five times a week. Its weird because I have the energy for workouts but the rest of my day and nights are spent in severe discomfort. I would like to drop my trainer but due to certain constraints at the moment, that sill not be plausible.

See your doctor. You shouldn't feel crappy all the time.
Also, I have to wonder what "...a really strict meal plan... " means. If that's a recent picture, you look pretty thin already -- how extreme a diet are you on?8 -
And ditch your trainer.4

I would definitely speak to a doctor. I know it seems like it must be related to the eating plan, but it could just be a coincidence. Either way, chronic nausea is not something you should ignore, it can really mess with your quality of life. If it is the eating plan, it suggests something is badly off with it and it needs adjusted. If it's not, you may have an underlying problem that needs treated.
And I would also take a pregnancy test if you have had any sex at all in the last two to three months, it is a real possibility and it would be the first thing I would look to rule out.3 -

Thanks, everyone. I am at 29% body fat, so my goal is to get to 23%, so I want to get lean and gain some muscle. I am taking protein powder twice a day and trying to aim for a good ratio of protein, carbs, and veggies each day. It is certainly a challenge, but it has been particularly hard for me because I eat food for comfort. I have been on birth control for seven years but I think I will take a pregnancy test to rule it out.1 -

I would but I am in a contract and I only get my deposit back by losing the body fat...I know, not the smartest move. But I seriously do want to lose it...I just wish I knew ahead of time that they would be this strict.

I'm also really skeptical of any trainer who's blowing your issues off like this.
Surprisingly I can tolerate the protein powder mixed with water, its Sun Warrior brand. I don't like the main trainer, but that person was a part of the package. Everyone else has been supportive and encouraging. I just have to keep acting polite until the challenge is over and I get my deposit back...0 -

Doing HIIT 5 days/week while only consuming 700-1000 calories/day is not a good idea. I would suggest dialing back your workout plan until you have your nausea in check and you're able to eat a healthy amount of food again.
And I agree with the others that the meal plan you're on is unnecessarily strict and is unlikely to be sustainable for you in the long run.3 -

This. This alone, without the nausea, is a recipe for disaster and any trainer or whatever who advocates that kind of regimen needs to be fired.3 -

How tall are you?
112 lbs is already quite small, unless you're pretty short. Also, you should definitely be eating more than 700-1000 calories. I bet that's why you're nauseous, especially considering you're doing HIIT which takes a lot out of you in such a short period of time.

Guess I will have to try foods outside the meal plan and pray I lose six percent body fat1

Yes, certainly... but not by eating 700-1000 calories and exercising on top of that. That's not all body fat you're burning... it's muscle.3 -
About a year ago I did a smoothie challenge. All I ate for 10 days was a couple smoothies. I did the math and was getting in about 700 calories a day. ( at the high end) I too felt the same way, but was very light headed. You want to know why? Because I wasn't eating enough to sustain my body to get through the day. As soon as I stopped it, things went back to normal. NO ONE should be doing HIIT workouts and while consuming 700-1000 calories a day. You are essentially working out and eating away all your fuel for the day. I say you ditch the trainer, get your money back and move onto something much healthier such as eating the amount of calories you should be.
If you're not willing to make that change, ginger works great for nausea as well as activated charcoal.

to gain muscle you are going to need a lot more than 1000 calories a day.and either choose to gain muscle or to get lean(lose fat). its hard to do both, you could do a recomp but that takes time and maintenance calories.. is your health worth more than the $500 deposit? you are doing too much on too little calories.you not being able to reveal the meal plan is a BIG RED FLAG...3 -

I have exactly the same question. Did they use body calipers, a "smart scale", a handheld device, or...?
