Hey!
So I've been on MFP for a while, although I have not been very active with it. I am a 23 years old have about 15 pounds to lose and am really ready to focus this time. I would love to become friends with people who have similar weight loss goals!

Hi,
My goal is 18 lbs. I am a Stay at Home Mom and don't get out much. I have started walking in my apartment as much as possible. I will walk, jog in place and walk jog around the apartment. I throw in some squats and other strength exercises. I have been on here a while but just started taking it seriously yesterday. So far I feel good but I am a big pop drinker and I also eat when bored so i am struggling with that. Good Luck.0 -

Well, I'm 144 (more or less since I weighted myself yesterday and I was 139) and have the goal of losing 20 pounds. As a mother of two children (3 anf 4) and never trying to lose the weight then, I finally decided that I want to be healthier for them and get the figure I had in high school back. So I'm joining the 20 pound clique!0

Hi! I'm Dee, and I also used to be an on again-off again user, but this summer I'm hoping to stay active on MFP throughout the entire year, and so far so good.

That's what I have to loose! I'm petite (4'11) so I have no where to hide the extra weight. I'm trying to cut a lot of carbs and sugars and getting into a ROUTINE of working out. I get bored easily so that's a struggle for me.0

Committed to the project of losing 15+ pounds as I am too young to look fuddy. No excuses. I did some body fat testing and I have managed to (gulp) add roughly 15 pounds of fat to my 5'5" frame over the past 6 years, which used to be 16% body fat, now I am registering in at 26% ish, and it shows. At a recent doctors appointment, I was shocked at the scale.
I feel like I am on the right track getting started, weighing every morning first thing. My body is doing weird things. Been working out every day, with both weights and or cardio. Sticking to my caloric deficit. I have lost a few pounds, probably mostly lifestyle change, and now can feel the shift in metabolism with eating healthy and drinking lots of water. I am just waiting for a significant change. It has been 6 days now. I think I have muscle memory happening, as I used to weight train pretty regularly, so those old muscles are coming back pretty fast, but the fat is taking its time in shrinkage.... Frustrating.
